Gederner Stadtlauf

The 24th Gedern City Run on August 15, 2026, offers runners of all ages a special running experience through Gedern’s historic old town. With distances of 500 m, 1,500 m, 5 km and 10 km, there is an option for children, teenagers, beginners and ambitious runners alike. The longer distances follow a varied loop course of four 2.5-kilometre laps, combining sporting challenge with history. The route follows historic paths such as the Eisenpfad, Basaltweg, Barbarossaweg and Fürstenweg, with a notable climb to Schlossberg and a section through the castle gardens. The start and finish are on Lauterbacher Straße near Kirchplatz. Changing facilities are available at Gedern gymnasium.
