Race description
The 24th Gederner City Run on August 15, 2026, offers runners of all ages a special running experience through the historic old town of Gedern. With distances of 500 m, 1,500 m, 5 km, and 10 km, there is a suitable option for children, teenagers, beginners, and ambitious runners. The longer distances lead over a varied loop course with four laps of 2.5 kilometers each, combining athletic challenge and history. The route passes through historic paths such as the Eisenpfad, Basaltweg, Barbarossaweg, and Fürstenweg, with a notable ascent to Schlossberg and through the castle garden. Start and finish are located on Lauterbacher Straße near Kirchplatz. Changing facilities are available in the Gedern sports hall.
