Lorsbacher Winterlauf- und Walkingserie

The Lorsbach Winter Running and Walking Series is a long-standing series in the Langenhain Forest near Hofheim-Lorsbach, held on five Sundays during the winter months. Participants can choose between 10 km and 20 km routes, which are permanently signposted and can also be used for walking or hiking. The start is free, there is no timing, and the event is all about running together without a competitive element. On running Sundays, participants are served tea at a refreshment station, and coffee and biscuits are available in the sports hall after the run. At the final event, soup, wheat beer, coffee and cake are also served.

Starts are individual, with no timing. No registration is required. Participation is free, with voluntary donations welcome. Changing rooms in the sports hall at Schinderwald are open on Sundays from 8:00 to 13:00. Coffee and biscuits are available after the run; at the final event, soup and wheat beer are also served. Bring your own collapsible cup for tea. Route profiles are available on Komoot.
