Brunnenfestlauf 2026

The Brunnenfestlauf Oberursel is a traditional race that starts and ends at the historic marketplace in the heart of Oberursel. The course takes runners through beautiful residential areas, forests, and meadows, offering a varied running experience for participants of all ages. In addition to the main races over 10 km, half marathon, and 5 km, there is also a 3 km student and sports badge run as well as a toddler run for the youngest participants. The event is embedded in the Brunnenfest and provides a family-friendly atmosphere with competitions for different age groups and youth categories.

Registrations on the day of the event are possible until 09:30 AM. The races start in waves: 10:00 AM for 10 km & half marathon, 10:10 AM for 5 km, 12:35 PM for the 3 km student and sports badge run, and 1:05 PM for the toddler run. There is a 5 € late registration fee for all races except the 3 km run. The event supports the German Sports Badge and offers a 3 km Sports Badge run. Supported by local sports clubs, with a focus on youth races and the Sports Badge, historic venues.
