Brunnenfestlauf 2026

The Brunnenfestlauf Oberursel is a long-standing race that starts and finishes at the historic market square in the heart of Oberursel. The course runs through pleasant residential areas, woodland and meadows, offering runners of all ages a varied running experience. In addition to the main races over 10 km, the half marathon and 5 km, there is also a 3 km schoolchildren’s and Sports Badge race, as well as a Bambini run for the youngest participants. The event is part of the Brunnenfest and offers a family-friendly atmosphere, with categories for different age groups and youth divisions.

Late entries are possible on race day until 09:30. The races start in staggered order: 10:00 — 10 km & half marathon; 10:10 — 5 km; 12:35 — 3 km schoolchildren’s and Sports Badge race; 13:05 — Bambini run. There is a €5 late-entry fee for all races except the 3 km race. The event supports the German Sports Badge and offers a 3 km Sports Badge race. Supported by local sports clubs, with a focus on youth races and the Sports Badge, at historic venues.
