Race description
The Ottonenlauf is a scenic race in the Harz, bringing runners from three different villages to a common goal in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Quedlinburg. The race distances of 21.1 km, 42.2 km, and 69 km start respectively in Stiege, Alexisbad, and Meisdorf. The route mainly runs on forest and woodland paths through the Selketal, featuring shady forests, rural sections, and moderate inclines that require a good pace. In addition to the race, there are walking and Nordic walking options, making the event accessible to a wide range of runners. Electronic timing and medals for finishers complete the offering.
