Race description
The Schierker Sommerlauf is a traditional race in the Harz Mountains, taking place for the 24th time on 8 August 2026. The event offers varied distances from 1 km to 16 km, running through the impressive landscape around Schierke. Runners can enjoy breathtaking views, a unique atmosphere and great support in the finish area at the Schierker Feuersteinarena. The race is part of the new Harzer Laufcup 2026 and is open to runners of all abilities.
