The Neuhäuser Hiking Day is an annual hiking event in the Solling-Vogler region around Neuhaus im Solling. Participants can choose from four routes of varying lengths, from 4.7 to 18 km, through varied landscapes of dense forests, green meadows and beautiful viewpoints. The start and finish are at the Haus des Gastes in Neuhaus, where hikers can set off between 8 and 10 a.m. Drinks and light snacks are available at checkpoints for a small fee. An awards ceremony takes place in the afternoon, recognizing, among others, the groups with the most participants and the oldest hikers.
