Silvesterlauf Hannover

The Silvesterlauf an der Leine in Hanover is a traditional year-end race held on December 31. The event features a 7.7 km loop, mostly on paved paths through the Steintormasch, to the Wasserkunst and along the Stichkanal to the Ihme. The race starts at 13:00 at the clubhouse of the Hannoverscher Radsportclub on Weddigenufer. After the race, participants can refuel with mulled wine and bratwurst and receive a finisher wheat beer glass as a keepsake. The event is known for its relaxed atmosphere and mass start.

Mass start; mulled wine and bratwurst at low prices after the race; every finisher receives a 0.5 l wheat beer glass in the event design. On-the-day registration is possible on site from 12:00 (cash or PayPal). The race takes place on December 31, with online registration open until 31.12.25 at 10:00. There is a mass start and festivities that make the race a sociable way to end the year.
