Race description
The New Year's Eve Run at the Leine in Hanover is a traditional end-of-year race held on December 31st. The event features a 7.7 km loop course, primarily on paved paths through Steintormasch, to Wasserkunst, and along the Stichkanal to the Ihme. The race starts at 1:00 PM at the clubhouse of the Hanover Cycling Club at Weddigenufer. After the race, participants can enjoy mulled wine and bratwurst and receive a finisher wheat beer glass as a memento. The event is known for its cozy atmosphere and mass start.

The race takes place on December 31st, with online registration until 31.12.25 10:00 AM. There are mass start and festivities that make the race a convivial end-of-year celebration.
