Volkslauf in St.Vit Laufen und Gutes tun

The charity run “Laufen und Gutes tun” takes place on September 5, 2026, in St. Vit, Rheda-Wiedenbrück. The races follow flat loop courses through St. Vit, starting and finishing at the Küsterhaus. The event supports various social causes, including pediatric outpatient palliative care, the Malteser Herzenswunsch ambulance, DKMS, and families in need. Alongside the runs, the event features an inline skating race for the first time, as well as a charity tattoo campaign to encourage participants’ social commitment.

Timing is provided by a disposable chip attached to the running shoe. Race bibs and materials can be collected on event day from 13:30 in the registration tent next to the Küsterhaus. Water is available along the course, with tea and fruit at the finish area. Changing facilities are available at the local youth center. Helmets are required for the inline skating race. A charity tattoo campaign and DKMS registration will be available on site. Participation through membership is possible; donations support children’s hospices, DKMS, and families in need. Races are offered over various distances, including a Bambini run and inline skating.
