Adventslauf

The Advent Run in Hamm is a traditional winter race on officially measured out-and-back courses through the Lippeaue nature conservation area and the Kurpark in Bad Hamm. The start and finish are on the tartan track at Jahnstadion, creating a welcoming atmosphere for runners of all ages. The event offers two distances, 5 km and 10 km, with chip-based net and gun timekeeping. Alongside the sporting challenge, charity is also a key focus, with a donation collected for the support association of the hospice in Hamm.

Young people and young adults up to age group U20 receive a 50% discount on the entry fee (excluding the donation and deposit). An additional €3.00 deposit is charged for the race bib (refunded when returned), along with a €1.00 donation for the support association of the hospice in Hamm. Timing is provided using Race Result systems via a chip in the race bib. The timing is eligible for best-list results and is forwarded to the DLV federation. Headphones, dogs and jogging strollers are prohibited during the race. The awards ceremony takes place approximately 45 minutes after the first runner finishes. Discounted admission is available at the neighboring Maximare adventure swimming pool.
