Volksbank-Citylauf Telgte

The 19th Volksbank-Citylauf Telgte takes place on September 26, 2026, and offers a varied program for runners of all ages. The routes pass through the historic town center, along the Ems and through the surrounding countryside, vividly reflecting the motto “Town, Country and River.” In addition to the 10,000-meter main race, there are other events, including a 5,000-meter race, walking, children’s and Bambini races, and an untimed fun run. The event is suitable for competitive runners, recreational runners and families, and is organized by TV Friesen Telgte e.V.

Late entries are possible up to 30 minutes before the respective start, with a €2 late-entry fee (for the Bambini race, charged once per family or group). Changing facilities are available at the old double gymnasium at the school center, close to the start and finish. Medals, trophies and certificates are awarded in various events and age groups. The course is varied, with asphalt, a tartan track, paved paths and natural trails. Photos and video recordings will be taken and published. The start and finish are at the school center sports field; registration is online; changing facilities are at the Old Double Gymnasium; children’s races are not timed.
