Ortsstraßenlauf

The local road race organized by TV Marienhagen has been held annually since 1990 on German Unity Day and is the largest sporting event of the club. The courses run on roads within and outside the town as well as paved forest and field paths. The event is part of the Waldeck-Frankenberger Laufcup and offers classifications for children, pupils, youth, and seniors. Participation is open to everyone, membership in a club is not required, and there are no more pre-registrations — registration is only possible on-site. Catering is provided during and after the event, and each participant receives a certificate.

Registrations are only possible on-site until at least 45 minutes before the start. The event takes place in all weather conditions. Every participant receives a certificate. No double starts for children and adolescents. Catering is available during and after the race at the village community center at the sports field. The course runs through the town, no pre-registrations possible, catering on-site, certificates for all participants.
