Mainova Frankfurt Marathon

The Mainova Frankfurt Marathon is a special running experience, with a fast course, fantastic support from the crowds along the route and an overwhelming finish. The event offers a varied program for the whole running family, including the classic marathon, relay marathon, mini-marathon and Struwwelpeter Run for children. The marathon covers the full distance of 42.195 kilometers through Frankfurt and is known for its wonderful atmosphere and the street festival surrounding the event.

The marathon starts from 10 a.m. in four waves at Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage. The finish is in the Festhalle. There is an extensive supporting program featuring a marathon expo, Pasta Party, pretzel run and course-side festivals. The pretzel run takes place the day before. The children's races (Mini-Marathon and Struwwelpeter Run) also finish in the Festhalle. The event is part of a large street festival in Frankfurt.
