The Rodgau Winter Running Series is a traditional running event that has been taking place in Rodgau-Jügesheim since 1980, attracting both recreational runners and top athletes from Germany and abroad. The series includes four dates, each featuring 5 km and 10 km courses starting at the Maingau Energy Stadium. The courses are paved and on asphalt forest paths, which may often have snow or frost in winter conditions. Training plans for various target times are offered to optimally prepare runners for the races.
