Kusterdinger Hornissenlauf - 4. Lauf des VR-Cups

The Kusterdingen Hornissenlauf is a scenic race with a friendly, family atmosphere and timed results, held annually since 1990. The challenging course of approximately 10 kilometers follows paved forest and cycle paths and finishes on the synthetic track at Kusterdingen Stadium. In addition to the main race, there are races for schoolchildren, young people and children, a fun run, and Nordic walking. The event is supported by the Municipality of Kusterdingen and Volksbank in der Region. All participants receive medals and certificates, with awards for the top runners.

Late entries are accepted on the event day until 30 minutes before the respective start, with a late-entry fee of €3.00 per entry. The awards ceremony takes place from 11:00 in the sports and events hall. The first runners receive special prizes; all participants receive medals and certificates. The largest group registered in advance receives a special prize. Courses on paved forest paths; wheelchairs and jogging strollers are not permitted; dogs are not allowed. Test run on 17 July 2026.
