Race description
The itdesign Nikolauslauf Tübingen is a traditional half marathon that has been organized by Post-SV Tübingen since 1976. The course is officially measured and recognized as a road race, making it eligible for best lists. The route runs over finely gravelled forest paths and paved sections with moderate inclines, providing a varied challenge. Refreshment points along the course and at the finish line ensure good supply for the runners. In addition to the main race, the event offers a 10 km school competition and a virtual 10 km run.

Additional information
Start and finish are located at Waldhäuser Straße 120, 72076 Tübingen, about 200 meters from the runner's expo. The runner's expo, race documents, and the race office are situated in the sports hall of Geschwister-Scholl-Schule, Berliner Ring 33, 72076 Tübingen. Refreshments with water, tea, and UltraSports products are available at kilometers 5, 11, and 17, as well as at the finish. At the finish, there are raisin rolls from Bäckerei Gehr. There is a Nikolauslauf app for current information, bib numbers, and results. The event takes place annually in December, including trial runs in November, with environmentally friendly travel options via the naldo network, anniversary and special shirts, and routes in the Schönbuch Nature Park.
