Europalauf 2026

The 20th Hennef Europalauf on June 20, 2026, offers a wide range of running events from 1,000 metres to the half marathon (21.1 km). The routes pass through the centre of Hennef, along Allner Lake and through the picturesque Sieg Valley. The event is for the whole family, with beginner-friendly races for children and novice runners as well as challenging courses for ambitious runners. Particular emphasis is placed on inclusion, and special races are offered for people with disabilities. The event is organised by Hennefer Turnverein in cooperation with the City of Hennef and takes place in a friendly, volunteer-run atmosphere.

Late entries are possible on race day at the town hall from 8 a.m. until 60 minutes before the respective start, with a late-entry fee of €2 per person per race. The start and finish are at the Historic Hennef Town Hall (Frankfurter Straße 97). Changing rooms and showers are available at Kronos Aktivclub. Timing is provided professionally using disposable chips from runtiming. The award ceremony takes place at 1 p.m. in front of the town hall. There is a team challenge with cash prizes for the top teams in the HIT Panoramalauf. The routes are not suitable for wheelchair users, and coaching from a bicycle results in disqualification. A range of routes is available, including accessible and panoramic options, as well as a challenging half marathon with elevation gain and bridge crossings.
