Kölner Silvesterlauf

The Cologne GAG New Year's Eve Run celebrates its 50th edition on December 31, 2026, and invites both experienced runners and newcomers to a traditional athletic year-end event. The race course runs through the traffic-free park area of Merheimer Heide, is flat, fast, recognized by the German Athletics Association (DLV), officially measured, and eligible for rankings. Start and finish are located in front of the stadium, with the 10 km course consisting of three large laps and the 5 km course of two shortened laps, each with a lap through the stadium. Relay teams share the course and change in the stadium. The event offers races over 950 meters for students, 5 km, 10 km, and relay races.

Online registration is possible until December 27, 2026, at 24:00. Late registration on the event day until 45 minutes before the start. Registration office at the tennis clubhouse of TuS Köln rrh. Race bibs can be picked up on the event day from 09:45 to 12:45. Relay exchange zone is located in the stadium. Changing rooms and showers are available. Courses run through Merheimer Heide. Registration online until December 27, late registration on event day, start and finish in the stadium, timing with Raceresult system.
