Winterlauf

The Aachen Winter Run is a traditional 16.1-kilometre race from Bürgerhaus Venwegen to the ATG sports field at Am Chorusberg. Held annually in December, it attracts many runners of all ages. The route passes through the Voreifel and the city of Aachen, offering varied and scenic running. The event is well organised, with race bib collection available on several days, a bus transfer to the start and refreshments at the finish.

Race bibs can be collected at various locations on several days before the race. Free bus transport from Chorusberg to the start is available from 8:15 a.m.; taking an early bus is recommended. Bürgerhaus Venwegen is heated and serves as a place to wait and get refreshments. Clothing is transported from the start to the finish. Late entries are not possible. Starting places can be transferred up to one hour before the race via the individual change link or by email. The Winter Run takes place on 13 December 2026; further information about start times, registration and logistics is available on the website.
