Race description
The Esslinger Zeitung Run, also called EZ Run, is a traditional community race in Esslingen am Neckar that has been held annually since 1999. Organized by the Esslinger Zeitung and TSG Esslingen, it is the largest amateur sports event in the Esslingen district. Since 2003, the main race has been over a 10 km course, which runs on a 2.5 km loop through the city center and is considered challenging due to cobblestone passages. In addition to the main race, there are also children’s and students’ runs. The EZ Run is a member of the German Road Races.

Additional information
The main race was shortened to 7.5 km in 2015 due to extreme heat. The course is measured according to DLV guidelines with the Jones-Counter. Main race over 10 km, member of the German Road Races, event since 1999
