Esslinger Schurwaldlauf

The Esslingen Schurwaldlauf is a long-standing running event taking place on September 27, 2026, in Esslingen, on the Schurwald ridge. The start and finish are at Georgii-Waldstadion, which is scenically located between the Neckar and Rems valleys. The event gives runners of all ages the opportunity to compete in various races, including the Esslingen city championships over 10 km. The course runs through the beautiful Schurwald countryside and is suitable for both competitive and recreational runners.

Late registration is possible on the day of the event from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m., with a €5 late-registration fee in addition to the entry fee. Changing rooms and showers are available at the stadium. Parking is available nearby at Jägerhaus, the riding stable, or the gliding airfield. The awards ceremony begins at approximately 12:15 p.m. First aid is provided by the German Red Cross.
