Ditzinger Keltenlauf

The Keltenlauf in Ditzingen-Hirschlanden is a versatile race for all ages, with distances of 12 km, 6 km, 1.5 km and 800 m. The course runs through the scenic Strohgäu region and passes significant archaeological monuments such as the Celtic Warrior and the Celtic woman’s grave. The races take place at the Seehansen Sports and Recreation Centre, with suitable events for adults, schoolchildren and Bambinis. The event is held in all weather conditions and uses modern RFID timing.

Late registration is possible on site on the event day until shortly before the race, but a late-registration fee applies. Bambini races (0.8 km) are free; donations are voluntary. Timing is by RFID chip on the race bib. Parking is available nearby at Bäckerei Sehne / DM; parking at Seehansen is not possible on the event day. The Hirschlanden Kreisverkehr public transport stop is about a 400 m walk away. There is a special category for firefighters in the 6 km firefighters’ race, run in full operational gear (without breathing apparatus). The course is mostly paved, with some hills.
