Bürener Volkslauf - Hochstift-Cup

The Bürener Volkslauf is a traditional running event in Büren, taking place on 21 August 2026. The races cover various distances, including Bambini, children’s, schoolchildren’s and corporate races, on paved routes with minimal elevation changes through the scenic Aftetal valley. All participants receive certificates, and the top runners are awarded trophies. The event is part of the Hochstift-Cup and offers a friendly atmosphere for runners of all ages.

Certificates for all participants. Trophies for places 1–3 (men/women/diverse) in the overall standings. The City of Büren’s challenge trophy for first place in the team standings. Special prize for the largest team (corporate runners only). Certificates can be printed via the “race result” software after the event. Race numbers and transponders will be provided. Changing and shower facilities are available. Parking and travel information will be provided. The courses are challenging, with minimal elevation changes. The registration deadline is the day of the event. Registration is via MY RACERESULT.
