Braunschweiger Speed5

The Braunschweig Speed5 is the fastest public race in the city of Braunschweig, organized by the Police Sports Club Braunschweig and the Braunschweig Running Club. The running event on November 8, 2026, offers exciting competitions with an 800 m children's run, a 1-mile school run, and a measured 5 km race for recreational and ambitious runners of all ages. The event features professional chip timing, a clear time limit for the fast 5 km race, and a friendly atmosphere with finish line refreshments and musical accompaniment. The award ceremonies honor the best female and male runners in various age groups and main races.

Number pickup from 09:15 AM at the Police Sports Club grounds. Finish line refreshments for runners and musical entertainment by DJ Carlito. Paramedics are on site for safety. There is a pacemaker in the slow 5 km race to enable times under 20 minutes. Certificates can be downloaded online or on-site after the race. Course: 5 km measured, children's and school runs, registration via RaceResults, parking along Georg-Westermann-Allee and Ebertallee, event held in Prinzenpark.
