8. Wisent-RUN

The Wisent-RUN is a popular race at the Wisent Enclosure in Springe, taking place for the eighth time on August 7, 2026. The event offers various running courses, including children's runs and timed competitions, set in a natural environment. With a family-friendly setting and free admission to the Wisent Enclosure from 3:00 PM, the race is a sporting highlight for all age groups. The event is organized by VfV Concordia Alvesrode e.V. and is characterized by a friendly atmosphere and dedicated volunteers.

Free admission to the Wisent Enclosure from 3:00 PM. Children's race "Frischlingsrennen" without timing over 500 m for children born in 2021 and later. 1 km children's run with timing and award ceremony for children born between 2016 and 2021. Ample parking available. The event is open to everyone, with free entry for visitors. It offers an opportunity to explore the wildlife of the Wisent Enclosure while staying active.
