40. Göttinger Frühjahrs-Volkslauf

The 40th Göttingen Sparkassen Volkslauf takes place on May 31, 2026, at Jahnstadion Göttingen and offers a varied programme of races for runners of all abilities. The event combines tradition and community, inviting both experienced runners and recreational joggers to enjoy an active day of fun and exercise. The distances are 2 km, 5.4 km and 10.8 km; unfortunately, the half marathon will not take place this year. The event focuses on health, wellbeing and community in the region.

No registration is required for the Bambini Run; race numbers can be collected free of charge on the day of the event. Registration on the day is not possible. The entry fee includes the organisation fee and a mineral drink. There are individual rankings and a special award for the most active school, as well as rankings in the S-Running-Cup, SüdNiedersachsen-Cup and Gö-Challenge. Race distances: 2 km, 5.4 km and 10.8 km; event at Jahnstadion; online registration; the half marathon is cancelled due to road closures; medical support and parking are available.
