19. Bothfelder Waldlauf

The Bothfelder Waldlauf is a popular race approved by the DLV, organized by TuS Bothfeld 04 in Hannover. The runs start and finish at the district sports field in Bothfeld and lead through the beautiful Bothfelder Wald on a circular course over forest paths and well-developed forest roads. The race is part of the Laufpass of the Hannover region and offers changing and shower facilities at the finish area. Refreshments include affordable food, drinks, and free hot tea. The event is open to runners of all ages, including children (Bambinis) with short distances.

Spontaneous registration on race day is possible online up to 60 minutes before each race, subject to available start places. The late registration fee is €2 in addition to the entry fee. Award ceremonies for the children's races take place approximately 60 minutes after the races, and immediately after the finish for the longer races. On-site certificate printing is available. The 5 km walking starts simultaneously with the 10 km main race. Changing and shower facilities are available. Public transportation is accessible via Stadtbahn line 13, and parking is available nearby. The registration deadline is October 30, 2026; the event takes place in typical November weather in Hannover; it is outside the official stadium calendar.
