19. Bothfelder Waldlauf

The Bothfelder Waldlauf is a DLV-approved public race organized by TuS Bothfeld 04 in Hanover. The races start and finish at the Bothfeld district sports ground and follow a loop through the beautiful Bothfelder Wald on forest trails and well-maintained forest roads. The race is part of the Hannover Region Running Pass and offers changing and shower facilities in the finish area. Affordable food, drinks, and free hot tea are available. The event is open to runners of all age groups, including Bambinis, with short-distance races.

Late entries on race day can be made online up to 60 minutes before the respective race, subject to availability. The late-entry fee is €2 in addition to the entry fee. The children’s race award ceremonies take place approximately 60 minutes after the races; ceremonies for the longer races follow immediately after the finish. On-site certificate printing is available. The 5 km walk starts at the same time as the 10 km main race. Changing and shower facilities are available. Public transport is available via tram line 13, and parking is available nearby. The registration deadline is October 30, 2026; the event takes place in typical November weather in Hanover; the event is outside the official stadium calendar.
