18. Edeka Ladage-Lauf

The EDEKA Ladage Run in Wennigsen is a traditional community race with a variety of events for all age groups. The event takes place at the Sophie-Scholl-Gesamtschule sports grounds and offers varied circuits for everyone from kindergarten children to experienced runners. The longer races follow a slightly modified 2.5 km loop, with the start and finish close to the event area, creating a special atmosphere. Alongside competition, the event emphasizes community spirit, supported by a prize drawing and a dedicated team of volunteers.

On-site late registration is possible until one hour before the respective start, for an additional fee (€5, including a €2 deposit for a rented race bib). Kindergarten children and primary school pupils run an exciting circuit on the school grounds. The longer races use a 2.5 km loop, completed twice (5 km) or four times (10 km). Entry in the charity run includes automatic entry in the prize drawing. Proceeds from the charity run go to the Bastlergemeinschaft der Wennigser Wasserräder e.V. The event is organized by SG Bredenbeck-Holtensen e.V. It takes place on the grounds of the Sophie-Scholl-Gesamtschule, with various race categories and a focus on community and health. Taking part supports the local community and promotes young athletes.
