Silvesterlauf Salzgitter

The Silvesterlauf at Salzgittersee is a traditional running event held on the last day of the year. The event offers various running and walking distances for different age groups and ability levels. The race is a sporting highlight and a meeting place for runners and spectators who want to end the year on an active note together. Alongside the sporting competition, there is a team classification and an awards ceremony that gives special recognition to the children’s races.

Race number collection and late registration (plus €3) from 16.12. to 28.12.2025 at the Stadtbad Salzgitter pool cashier. Changes of registration and late registration are possible on 30.12. (15:00–17:00) and 31.12. (11:00–13:00) in the Stadtbad foyer. Online registration is available until 31.12.25 at 10:00 without an extra fee, unless the event is full. Team classification based on the combined times of each team’s three fastest runners. Race packs do not need to be collected in person.
