Wipperfürther Stadtlauf

The 20th Wipperfürth City Run will take place on September 18, 2026, and will lead through the historic old town of Wipperfürth. The event offers races for all age groups, from kindergarten runs to the main 10 km race, which is officially measured by the German Athletics Association (DLV). The races are electronically timed, and all participants will receive commemorative medals. The event is open to everyone, membership in a club is not required, and attractive awards are given to the fastest and class winners.

Late registrations are possible on September 18, 2026, from 4:00 PM at the KSK branch in Marktplatz (additional fee of 3 EUR). Race documents will be handed out from 4:00 PM at Marktplatz. Changing rooms and showers are available at the fire station on Lüdenscheider Straße 14. Relay race exchanges take place at the start area on Lüdenscheider Straße by handing over a sash or baton. All participants receive commemorative medals, with trophies for the top finishers in the Bambini and school runs, and prizes for the 4.4 km race and main race. The city champions are determined from the fastest Wipperfürth participants. Various running competitions, medals for all finishers, registration until September 11, 2026, start/finish at the large parking lot Ohler Wiesen.
