Kölner Nikolauslauf

The Cologne St. Nicholas Run is a traditional fun run, taking place for the 29th time on December 6, 2026. The event offers three different races: the competitive 10 km TopRun, the FunRun with a variable distance of 3.4 km to 10 km for all running enthusiasts, and the KidsRun, a 3.4 km race for children. The races follow a course through the beautiful Cologne City Forest on a DLV-measured loop, creating a festive, athletic atmosphere for the whole family. The event is organized by the athletics team of the German Sport University Cologne and emphasizes community and the joy of running.

Start times: TopRun 10:00, KidsRun 11:30, FunRun 11:35. FunRun participants can choose between 3.4 km, 6.7 km, or 10 km. A preferred bib number is available for an additional €3. On-site late registration is possible for an additional fee of €5. €1 from every St. Nicholas hat sold will be donated to Lindenthaler Tierpark. Race bibs include B-tags for timing; registration is closed, late registration is possible, and race packet pickup is in Cologne.
