Wald-und Hügellauf

The Wald- und Hügellauf in Groß-Umstadt is a traditional race that starts and finishes at Ludwig-Wedel-Stadion on September 26, 2026. Participants can choose between two distances: the classic 13.2 km route and the 21.1 km half-marathon. The race is part of the Langlauf Cup Jugenheim and is sanctioned by the DLV. The course runs through forests and hills, where runners can expect witches in the woods and the “Mountain of Truth.” Refreshments are available along the course. After the race, there is an awards ceremony, and showers and changing rooms are available on site.

Race packs can be collected until 13:30 on race day. Race numbers are available for collection from 12:30 to 13:30. The half-marathon cutoff time is 17:00; participants who finish after that will not be ranked. Showers and changing rooms are available. Participants are asked to bring their own cups to reduce the carbon footprint. Refreshments are provided after the race. On-the-day registration is available at the venue.
