The Forest and Hill Run in Groß-Umstadt is a traditional race that starts and ends at the Ludwig-Wedel-Stadion on September 26, 2026. Participants can choose between two distances: the classic 13.2 km course and the half marathon distance of 21.1 km. The race is part of the Long Distance Cup Jugenheim and is an approved race of the DLV. The route runs through forest and hills, where runners can expect witches in the woods and the "Mountain of Truth." Refreshments are provided along the way, and after the race, there will be an award ceremony as well as showers and changing facilities on site.

Race bibs can be collected until 1:30 PM on the day of the event. Distribution of race numbers from 12:30 to 13:30. The cut-off time for the half marathon is 5:00 PM; participants arriving after this time will no longer be scored. Showers and changing facilities are available. Participants are asked to bring their own cups to reduce their carbon footprint. Refreshments are provided after the race. Late registration is possible on-site on the day of the event.
