Volksbank Stadtlauf Selm 2026

The Volksbank City Run Selm takes place for the fourth time as part of the popular city festival weekend. The officially measured course runs through the beautiful Auenpark and is very popular among athletes from Selm and the surrounding region. The event offers races for various age groups, from children (bambini) to open runs over 5 and 10 kilometers. Mayor Thomas Orlowski will participate in the 10-kilometer run himself, emphasizing the family-friendly and sporting atmosphere.

The city run begins with the bambini race at 4 PM in the stadium (400 m). Followed by school races over 1 km and 2.5 km, as well as open runs over 5 km (6 PM) and 10 km (7 PM). Award ceremonies take place between the races. Volksbank Selm-Bork eG is the main sponsor of the event. Multiple race distances, start in Auenpark, children and youth races, registration now open.
