Theodor-Heuss-Lauf

The Theodor Heuss Run is a traditional city run in Brackenheim, held annually at Wiesental Stadium and in the surrounding picturesque countryside. It offers various race distances for all age groups, from Bambini and kindergarten runs to school races and the main 5 km and 10 km races. The route runs along the cycle path on Austraße, through the “am Blasenberg” development and the villages of Meimsheim and Dürrenzimmern, before returning to the stadium. Alongside sporting ambition, fun and community are also central, with local partners providing attractive prizes and gifts for all participants.

Race number and transponder chip collection is available on the Friday before the race and on event day. Late entries are possible for a fee of €3.00, both on Friday and on event day until one hour before the respective race start. Separate start times: 11:15 for the Zabergäu Cup, fun run and main race; 14:00 for the Bambini, kindergarten and school races. Refreshments, showers, changing rooms and parking are available on site. The race takes place in September, with start times and various categories including Bambini, kindergarten, school and main races. The event is organized by the City of Brackenheim and supported by local partners.
