Race description
The Tanzenhaider Weiherlauf is a traditional race in Oberreichenbach scheduled for July 11, 2026. The course runs through scenic landscapes with ponds, forests, and historic paths, offering a varied and natural running experience. There are different competitions for participants of all ages, including the main race, youth and children’s runs, as well as Nordic walking. The event provides not only a sporting challenge but also Franconian specialties and a family-friendly atmosphere with award ceremonies and on-site medical services.

Additional information
Pre-registrations until June 13 receive a free T-shirt. Entry fees are debited via direct debit, with refunds available up to two weeks before the event. Late registrations are to be paid in cash with an additional fee. Catering includes Franconian specialties and a salad buffet at the sports home. Medical services are provided by BRK. Results lists and certificates are available online. Award ceremonies take place after each race. The 10 km main race can be registered for online with direct debit; a T-shirt is included if registered by June 13. Refreshments include water. The event features a night run with effects, creative relay and costume competitions.
