Steps for Life

Steps for Life is a charity run organized by SV Würtingen for the 20th time in support of a relief project. In the anniversary year of 2026, participants will raise funds for the construction of a children’s home in the remote mountain region around Musikot, Nepal. The event offers 4, 8 and 15-kilometer routes through the beautiful surroundings of the Swabian Alb. Times are recorded using a professional timing system. There is also a Kids Race and a Bambini Run on Race Day. Participants can choose between the virtual running period from June 19 to 27 and Race Day on June 28.

The virtual running period is from June 19 to 27, 2026, daily from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with multiple starts allowed. On Race Day, June 28, 2026, late registrations are accepted from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.; no registrations are accepted after that. Musical accompaniment on Race Day. Award ceremonies for age-group winners, individual participants with the most kilometers, and the team with the most kilometers. Distances of 4 km, 8 km and 15 km; sponsorship per kilometer; support for a relief project in Nepal; scenic route on the Swabian Alb.
