The Stefan-Andres Friendship Run is a challenging trail run through the vineyards of Schweich on the Moselle, held without a competitive element. The focus is on the joy of running and sharing the experience. Three distances are offered—12, 18 and 26 kilometres—each with several metres of elevation gain and well-marked routes. After the run, participants can get together over soft drinks at the Haus des Sports, which also has changing rooms and showers.

This is a non-competitive friendship run with no entry fees, held as a charity run in support of the “Region der Lebensretter” emergency responder app project. The start and finish are in Schweich: the start is at Niedeprümer Hof, and the finish is at the Haus des Sports, which has changing rooms and showers. At Schweicher Annaberg, at “Lagenliebe”, each participant is offered a glass of wine. After the run, participants can relax together over soft drinks. The run is usually held in August, when the weather is typically sunny and around 25°C. Refreshment stations offer wine and schnapps tastings, and after the run everyone celebrates together at the Haus des Sports. The event supports the “Region der Lebensretter” app, which alerts nearby first responders.
