Race description
The Stefan-Andres Friendship Run is a challenging scenic run through the vineyards of Schweich on the Moselle, held without a competitive character. The focus is on the joy of running and the shared experience. Three distances are offered: 12 km, 18 km, and 26 km, each with several elevation meters and well-marked paths. After the run, there is a social gathering with cold drinks at the House of Sports, which also offers changing and shower facilities.

The run is a friendship run without entry fees, conducted as a charity run for the Lifesaver App project 'Region of Lifesavers'. Start and finish are in Schweich, with the start point at Niedeprümer Hof and the finish at the House of Sports, which has changing and shower facilities. At the Schweicher Annaberg 'Lagenliebe', each participant is served a glass of wine. After the run, there is a casual gathering with cold drinks. The event usually takes place in August, with typical sunny weather around 25°C. There are refreshment stations with wine and schnapps tastings, and after the run, participants celebrate together at the House of Sports. The event supports the app 'Region of Lifesaver', which alerts first responders nearby.
