The Bitburger 0.0% New Year's Eve Run in Trier is a festive year-end race that has been held annually since 1990 on December 31st. The event takes place on a 1 km loop through the historic old town of Trier and is known for its Brazilian-inspired atmosphere with samba drummers and Brazilian beauties. The 37th edition of the race in 2026 offers various competitions for children, teenagers, and adults, including an elite race and a popular race. Registration is online and the event attracts runners of all ages to end the year actively.

The event begins with a samba greeting at 1:00 PM by the Trier mayor. There are different races for toddlers, elementary school children, teenagers, and adults. Registration is exclusively online via cologne-timing.de with SEPA direct debit. The course is a flat 1 km loop through the historic city center. For toddlers, there is a shortened 0.6 km loop. The award ceremony for the top six women and men takes place after the elite and popular races.
