Sommerlauf Baierbrunn

The Baierbrunn Summer Run is a traditional race that has been held annually since 2015, bringing the entire Baierbrunn community together. The event is open to professional and recreational runners of all ages and offers a range of courses through the surrounding forests, with varied terrain. After the races for different age groups and distances, a summer festival for all participants and friends of SC Baierbrunn follows. The course is marked and closed to traffic, with drink stations along the way.

Race-number pickup starts at 8:30 a.m. on race day. Late registration is possible on race day until 9:00 a.m. for an additional fee of €5.00. Timing uses Datasport race-number transponders. Showers are available in the changing rooms at the SCB clubhouse, close to the Sports and Civic Centre. Each race is limited to a maximum of 80 participants. The awards ceremony takes place approximately 30 minutes after the last finisher. Baierbrunn S-Bahn station is nearby. A summer festival hosted by SC Baierbrunn follows the event. Races are offered for various age groups, including Bambini, children, youth, recreational runners, the main race, and Nordic walking; registration is recommended; the event is followed by a summer festival.
