Race description
The Seelbach Black Forest Solstice Run is a traditional running event taking place on June 19, 2026, for the 20th time in Seelbach. With over 1,000 participants from all over Germany and neighboring countries, the race offers a unique atmosphere that appeals to both ambitious runners and recreational joggers as well as children. The flat, officially measured 10 km course of the main race, along with relay and charity runs, invites participants to achieve sporting excellence and enjoy a communal experience. The event is characterized by a strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, supported by numerous volunteers and local clubs.

Additional information
Automatic timing with bib chip (main race and children’s runs) and relay baton chip (relay) by Race Result. Participant limit: 700 for the main race, 100 teams for the relay classification. Award ceremonies take place after the races in the sports hall. The charity run is a 3 km race without timing for a good cause. Children’s runs with various distances from 333 m for age groups U8 to U14. Large supporting program with musical entertainment, solstice celebration from 5:00 PM, and numerous volunteers and clubs supporting the event. Course length: 333 m to 10 km, registration online or on-site, on-site catering, prizes for winners, participation fees between 5 and 30 euros. The event takes place at the Seelbach sports hall.
