Schwanberglauf Iphofen-Castell

The Schwanberglauf is a traditional 10.4-kilometre race from Iphofen to Castell, taking place for the 42nd time on July 17, 2026. The course combines challenging climbs through vineyards and stretches through woodland with an idyllic finish in Castell Castle Park, accompanied by a wine-festival atmosphere. The event is open to runners and walkers of all ability levels, and its proceeds support social institutions. It is organised by volunteers from TG Kitzingen in collaboration with the SBL team.

Race-bib collection from 15:30 at the Karl-Knauf-Halle in Iphofen. Start groups are arranged according to your own 10-kilometre race time. Toilets are available at the Karl-Knauf-Halle. Free bus transfer from the finish in Castell back to the start in Iphofen (departures from 16:50 to 17:45, approximately every 10 minutes). Luggage transport by VW van. Medical services provided by the Bavarian Red Cross. Showers are available in Castell (men at the Meierei, women at the sports club). Every finisher receives a bottle of mineral water from Franken Brunnen.
