Schwanberglauf Iphofen-Castell

The Schwanberglauf is a traditional race over 10.4 kilometers from Iphofen to Castell, taking place on July 17, 2026, for the 42nd time. The course combines challenging ascents through vineyards and forest sections with an idyllic finish in the castle park in Castell, accompanied by a wine festival atmosphere. The event is open to runners and walkers of all performance levels and supports social institutions with proceeds. The organization is volunteer-based by TG Kitzingen in cooperation with the SBL team.

Race bibs are issued from 3:30 PM in the Karl-Knauf-Halle, Iphofen. Group placement based on 10 km race time. Toilets available in the Karl-Knauf-Halle. Free bus transfer from the finish in Castell back to the start in Iphofen (departure 4:50-5:45 PM, approximately every 10 minutes). Luggage transport by VW van. Medical services provided by the Bavarian Red Cross. Shower facilities in Castell (men in the Meierei, women in the sports club). Every finisher receives a bottle of mineral water from Franken Brunnen. Course: 10.4 km, start in Iphofen, finish in Castell, refreshments along the route, shower facilities in Castell, electronic timing, award ceremony at the wine festival, online registration, overnight stay in Iphofen recommended.
