Silvesterlauf Nürnberg

The New Year's Eve Run Nuremberg is a traditional race event held annually on December 31st around Lake Wöhrder. Various races are offered for all age groups, from the Bambini race to school and hobby runs, up to the 10 km main race. The course is mostly flat and fully asphalted, allowing for fast times. The event is open to runners of all performance levels and offers a festive atmosphere to close out the year.

Start and finish are in front of Café Tante Noris at Wastl on Johann-Soergel-Weg. The race bibs are distributed at Sebastianspital. Nordic walking poles and baby joggers are allowed in the hobby run but not in the main race for safety reasons. Participant limits are 150 for Bambini and school runs, 1300 for hobby and main runs. A long-sleeve shirt for the New Year's Eve Run can be ordered for an additional fee, with children's sizes only available until November 16, 2025. Races take place on December 31st, registration is open until December 18, 2025, with limited participant numbers. Late registrations on race day are possible for certain runs. Bib pickup is at Sebastianspital. Participation is restricted based on birth year.
