Rotenburger Strandfestlauf - Rotenburg rennt

The Rotenburg Strand Festival Run takes place annually on the first Friday of July as part of the traditional hometown and beach festival in Rotenburg an der Fulda. The flat and fast course runs through the city center and offers various competitions for youth, main runners, elite, and teams as well as walking. New are the precisely measured school and elite runs as well as the beer mile, where fun is the main focus. The event combines sporting ambition with social togetherness and is a highlight in the regional running calendar.

No registration on site possible, only pre-registration via specialized portals. No longer 5 km and 10 km routes, instead a 1.5 km course run five times for the main race. Beer mile without timing with four alcohol-free beer breaks of 400 m each. Participation requirements for the elite run (men: 03:10 min/km, women: 03:30 min/km). Youth, main, elite, and team runs, walking, preparation through running clubs, supported by Sparkasse.
