Rodenbacher Lauftag

The Rodenbach Running Day is a long-standing race for peace and democracy in Europe, taking place for the seventh time on October 3, 2026. The event offers four competitions for the whole family on a flat, paved, high-speed course measured according to IAAF rules through the oxygen-rich Rodenbach Forest. A special highlight is the lap through the stadium at the end of the 5 km loop, offering exciting views for spectators and runners. The youngest participants can enjoy an appealing stadium cross-country race with obstacles, commentated by an experienced team of announcers. The race is ideal preparation for an autumn marathon and is known for its family atmosphere and professional organization.

Late entries are possible in person on the day of the event. The course is eligible for record lists and measured according to IAAF rules. Every finisher receives a special certificate, and numerous athletes are honored at award ceremonies right at the event. Courses are measured according to IAAF rules; in-person registration is available on the day of the event, including children’s and youth races as well as a stadium cross-country race for the youngest participants.
