Remmers-Hasetal-Marathon

The Remmers-Hasetal-Marathon in Löningen is an established running event in northern Germany, taking place on June 27, 2026, for the 24th time. The flat, scenic course runs on a loop through the Hasetal valley, half of which is on the Hasetal cycling trail, and is measured and eligible for best lists by the DLV. In addition to the marathon, half marathon, relay marathon, corporate relay, Nordic walking, walking, and student races are offered. The event is known for its great atmosphere, support from spectators and volunteers, and the subsequent Marathon Night with a live band on the marketplace.

Start and finish at Löningen marketplace with info and sales stands as well as an event stage. The course passes through the Werwer Fuhren forest area and diverse Geest landscapes. There is a Marathon Night party with a top-40 live band in the evening. The children’s run starts at a different location at Gelbrink parking lot. Catering is organized by the altar boys of St. Vitus Löningen. The event is certified as a 'Three-Star Race'. It also includes a charity campaign 'Running to Help in Löningen', a marathon brochure, and usually takes place in June.
