Remmers-Hasetal-Marathon

The Remmers-Hasetal-Marathon in Löningen is an established running event in northern Germany, taking place for the 24th time on 27 June 2026. The flat, scenic course is a loop through the Hasetal valley, half of it on the Hasetal cycling and walking trail, and is officially measured by the DLV and eligible for the rankings list. In addition to the marathon, the event offers a half marathon, marathon relay, corporate relay, Nordic walking, walking and student races. The event is known for its great atmosphere, support from spectators and volunteers, and the Marathon Night afterwards, featuring a live band on the market square.

Start and finish at Löningen market square, with information and sales stands as well as an event stage. The course passes through the Werwer Fuhren forest and varied Geest landscapes. There is a Marathon Night party in the evening with a TOP-40 live band. The Bambini run starts separately from the Gelbrink car park. Refreshments are organised by the St. Vitus Löningen altar servers. The event is certified as a “Three-Star Run.” It also includes the charity initiative “Laufend helfen in Löningen,” a marathon brochure, and is usually held in June.
