Race description
The Oldenburg Marathon on October 25, 2026, offers runners a diverse program with a marathon, half marathon, relay half marathon, 10 km city run, 5 km run, and children's miles run. The course takes participants through Oldenburg and Wardenburg and is known for its good catering and friendly atmosphere. The event is open to all performance levels and also features a public running series with additional competitions throughout the year. Participants receive high-quality long-sleeve shirts and extensive on-site services.
Highlights
- Refreshment stations every 5 km from 10 km mark with water, sports drinks, and fruit
- Showers in the sports hall of Graf Anton Günther School approximately 300 meters from the start-finish area
- Changing rooms and baggage drop-off at parking deck 1 in the Schlosshöfe
Additional information
Race bibs will be distributed on October 11 from 11 a.m. in the Schlosshöfe. On the day of the event, distribution begins at 7 a.m. for marathon runners and at 8 a.m. for all others. There is group registration available. After the race, extensive catering with drinks, fruit, coffee, tea, pastries, and non-alcoholic wheat beer is provided. Free massages are offered by physiotherapy students. Mobile toilets and changing facilities are available. Multiple race distances, start in Wardenburg, street closures in the city center, medals for finishers, online registration possible.
