Öko-Run

The Eco-Run in Wächtersbach is part of the Main-Kinzig-Challenge and takes place on August 30, 2026. The course is continuously paved and runs traffic-free along meadows and fields by the Kinzig River. Offered are runs over 5 km, 10 km, as well as a 1,000 m school run in various age groups. Each finisher receives a running shirt, and the event is embedded in a race series with scoring runs and attractive prizes.

Start times: 5 km run at 09:00, 10 km main race at 09:40, 1,000 m school run at 10:40. Registration and payment are on-site until half an hour before the respective race. No separate registration for the challenge is required. The event is part of a series with 8 races, with at least 5 participations needed for scoring. Each finisher receives a running shirt. The event takes place in August with typical summer weather around 25°C, registration on-site at the start, part of the Main-Kinzig-Challenge.
