Odenwälder Herbstlauf

The Odenwälder Autumn Run is a traditional running event taking place on 3 October 2026 in Mudau. The event offers five different routes through the beautiful Mudau Odenwald, including a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, Nordic walking and a Bambini run. The routes are mostly on paved, flat forest paths and asphalt, with no significant climbs, making them challenging as well as scenic. Prizes are offered for personal bests on the half-marathon and 10 km courses, and each registration supports a charitable cause. The start and finish areas are at the Odenwald Stadium in Mudau, where race-number collection and awards ceremonies also take place.

Race numbers can be collected on race day from 7:30 a.m. at the Odenwald Stadium. Timing is gun time, using an integrated disposable transponder in the race number. There are up to 5 aid stations on the course with bananas, isotonic drinks and water. Changing rooms, showers and toilets are available at the TSV clubhouse. Valuables can be stored securely there. Awards ceremonies will take place in the stadium as soon as possible after the races. Age-group rankings and team competitions are available for the 5 km and 10 km races. Late entries are possible on race day until 8:45 a.m., for a late-entry fee of 4 EUR, by email or in person. The run is known for its rolling courses and family-friendly atmosphere. There are also special competitions for children and young people.
