Ochsenweiherlauf Emskirchen

The Ochsenweiherlauf in Emskirchen is a traditional running event hosted by TSV Emskirchen and held annually on October 3. The event offers various distances for all age groups, including a Bambini run, youth/schoolchildren’s run, fun run, walking, and the 10 km main race. The course follows paved forest paths around the Ochsenweiher and is suitable for both recreational runners and competitive athletes. Refreshments are provided, and the times can be used for the German Sports Badge.

Late registration is available on the day of the event until 1 hour before the start, subject to a €2 late-registration fee. The event is sanctioned by the Bavarian Athletics Association, and the rules of the German Athletics Regulations apply. Bags can be stored in the changing room; keys and valuables will be held upon presentation of the race number. Times from the main race and the 7.5 km walking/Nordic walking event can be used for the German Sports Badge.
