Nordkirchener Halbmarathon

The Nordkirchen Half Marathon takes place on August 2, 2026, and offers a scenic course through Nordkirchen Castle Park and the Obsen farming community. Runners start at the stadium in Castle Park, complete two laps of the stadium, and then run a nearly 10-kilometer loop through picturesque parkland and villages. Several aid stations along the route provide refreshments for participants. The finish is back at the stadium, where spectators can cheer on the runners and enjoy a lovely time together.

Personal refreshments can be dropped off before the start (8:00–8:45 a.m.). Water stations are located at km 4.5, 7, 9, 10.5, 14, 16.5, and 18.5. On-site late registration is available until 8:00 a.m. for an additional fee of EUR 3. Bibs with timing chips for electronic timekeeping will be issued and collected after the race, but participants may keep them as souvenirs. The course goes through Castle Park and Obsen, with the start and finish at the stadium in Castle Park. Registration is available online and on race day. Live results are available. Parking is available at the stadium, Nordkirchen Comprehensive School, and the Sundern car park.
