Neusser Erftlauf

The Neuss Erftlauf is a traditional running event organized annually by DJK Novesia 1919 Neuss e.V. The 53rd edition will take place on November 14, 2026, and offers runners of various performance levels an attractive course along the Erft. The event is characterized by a family-friendly atmosphere, good organization, and support from numerous sponsors. The 15 km main race is particularly popular and has gained many participants in recent years.

The Erftlauf is supported by numerous volunteers who ensure smooth operations at the course, start and finish areas, and refreshment stations. The event is sponsored by organizations such as RheinLand Versicherungsgruppe, Stadtwerke Neuss, and other partners. There is a construction site detour on the 15 km route, but the 5 km loop remains capable of ranking lists. An extensive photo album is available online. The course runs on paved paths and roads; spikes are not allowed. Registration opens online from September 1, 2025. Start times begin at 11:30 AM. Medals are awarded to children, and material prizes to winners. Limited parking is available. Showers are provided.
